Acceptable Use Policy
A short list, enforced before generation rather than after complaint.

Franchises and artists
Prompts naming a recognisable game franchise or a living artist are refused before anything is generated. You are not charged, and you are told what was blocked and offered a rewrite that usually gets you what you actually wanted.
Currently refused, with the suggestion offered in each case:
| Blocked | Suggested instead |
|---|---|
| Pokémon | top-down 16-bit creature-collection RPG style |
| Zelda, Link, Hyrule | top-down fantasy adventure RPG style |
| Mario, Luigi, Bowser | bright side-on platformer style |
| Sonic | fast side-on platformer style |
| Minecraft | blocky voxel-inspired style |
| Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger | 16-bit JRPG style |
| Stardew | cosy top-down farming game style |
| “in the style of [Artist]” | describe the visual qualities instead of naming a person |
The point is not to be difficult. Almost everyone naming a franchise is describing a genre — and a genre is something we can draw. The list is deliberately short and literal rather than a clever classifier, because wrongly blocking a paying customer's legitimate prompt is worse than missing one.
Attempting to work around these filters — misspellings, splitting words, encoding — is a breach of the Terms.
Reference images
When you upload a reference image you state that you own it or have permission to use it. We keep that statement on record.
Do not upload sprites ripped from other games. It exposes your project far more than ours — you are the one shipping the result.
Content we will not generate
- Sexual content involving minors, or anything that sexualises a childlike figure. No exceptions, no artistic-intent argument, and we report it.
- Sexual content generally. This is a tool for game art; there are other tools.
- Real, identifiable people without their consent.
- Hate symbols, or imagery whose purpose is to demean a group.
- Realistic depictions of extreme violence against real people or events.
- Anything designed to deceive — forged documents, counterfeit branding, fake official insignia.
Stylised fantasy violence is fine. This is a pixel-art tool for games; a knight with a sword and a monster taking damage are the job.
Technical limits
- Do not script around the rate limits or run many accounts to raise your ceiling.
- Do not resell raw generation capacity as your own service. Selling finished assets you generated is fine and encouraged.
- Do not use generated output to train, fine-tune or distil any model. Our model provider forbids it, so we cannot waive it — see the Asset Licence.
- One person, one account. Repeatedly creating accounts to farm signup credits is fraud, and we close all of them.
What happens if you breach this
For most first breaches: the prompt is refused and nothing else happens. Filters are imperfect and people make honest mistakes.
For deliberate or repeated breaches: a warning, then suspension, then closure. For the categories in the first bullet above, immediate closure and a report to the relevant authorities.
If you believe something was blocked wrongly, tell us at support@pixelite.art. False positives are bugs, and we want to hear about them.
